GSK Currabinny

GSK Currabinny

In operation since 1975, GSK’s manufacturing site in Cork produces the active ingredients for 9 of GSK’s medicines, including treatments for cancer, depression and Parkinson’s disease.

The hallmark of the Cork facility is their technical brilliance in science, engineering, production and IS systems.  Cork was one of the first sites in the GSK network to co-locate an R&D plant on-site and this has continued with the creation of a ‘second generation’ facility on-site. The diversification into manufacturing consumer healthcare ingredients in 2013 is a great example of how this site adapts and innovates.
